The canyon feels special - you can sense what you cannot actually see. She was kind and patient and, we think, understood how much we wanted to learn.
She helped set our cameras for the ever-changing light, gave us time to just breathe in the places around us, shared information about the land, geology, plants and animals there, but also shared so much information about her culture. Meredith was so generous with her time and knowledge. There were only three of us in the group.
What made it magical was our tour guide, Meredith. Anyone could appreciate the beauty of this stunning place.
